Quirky People

I love quirky people.  Everyone is so unique...just like everyone else...haha just joking.  I love when people can be happy being themselves even if it doesn't meet everyone else's expectations.  My roommate Kinzi is hilarious.  I never thought she would grow on me.  She sings opera in the shower and is OCD about a lot of things but I'm to the point where I wouldn't have it any other way.  Her shower singing provides entertainment and helps me to remember not to take myself too seriously.  It is kind of sad to say goodbye to the two roommates I didn't know before this semester.  They are really sweet girls.  I think President Hinkley was a really good example of someone who didn't take himself too seriously.  Here is a good quote from him:
"Generally speaking, the most miserable people I know are those who are obsessed with themselves; the happiest people I know are those who lose themselves in the service of others...By and large, I have come to see that if we complain about life, it is because we are thinking only of ourselves."
Lets try a little harder to reach out and serve someone this week!
